Kamil Sleiman
Professor Kamil Sleiman is an experienced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, competitor, coach, and martial arts program leader based in Doha, Qatar. With extensive experience in BJJ and Kickboxing, he combines competitive knowledge with a hands-on teaching approach focused on technique, self-defense, grappling, confidence, situational awareness, and strategic development.
About Professor Kamil
Professor Kamil has played an important role in the development and management of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programs in Qatar. He currently serves as an Owner and Managing Partner of United BJJ Muntazah Club, where he is Head of Jiu-Jitsu Coaches, and is also an Owner and Managing Partner of West Bay United BJJ Club, serving as Head of Jiu-Jitsu Coaches.
His coaching journey with United BJJ includes leading adult and kids’ programs, managing training activities and competitions, and working with students across different ages and skill levels.
Competition Experience
Alongside coaching, Professor Kamil has built an extensive competitive record. His achievements include gold medals at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu World Tour in both Gi and No-Gi, gold at the London IBJJF Fall International, and podium finishes at international competitions in Fujairah, Dubai, New York, Portugal, and Doha.
Black Belt & Federation Experience
Professor Kamil is listed as a black belt with the IBJJF and JJGF, and has also been a member of the UAEJJF. His experience across major Jiu-Jitsu organizations reflects a long-term commitment to both competitive and professional development within the sport.

His approach goes beyond competition. Professor Kamil focuses on developing strong fundamentals, practical self-defense, technical grappling, confidence, discipline, and healthy lifestyles. His experience teaching students of different ages and skill levels allows him to support everyone from beginners discovering BJJ to experienced athletes pursuing competitive goals.
